DOLPHIN
This bottle nose dolphin fractured a number of its teeth exposing the pulp cavities. under sedation and infiltration of local anaesthetic the teeth were extracted under the time allowed by the sedation in under 40 minutes. Haemorrhage was controlled with collagen packs and interrupted sutures. Healing was uneventful and rapid, especially as the water quality of the pools was excellent.
