Radiograph demonstrating internal resorption almost certainly initiated through trauma to the tooth and the resultant chronic pulpitis.
Some weeks after the above radiograph was taken, the tooth fractured exposing the pulp cavity. A small exposure is also visible on another tooth.
The exposed pulp cavities become infected. The dental treatment of these animals is complicated due to immobilisation and logistic issues.
